Happy Easter everyone! And if you are – like me – not at Coachella than I hope you still have a great time with your family and friends. To be honest, I wouldn’t mind being in my beloved California right now to attend the festival at least once. But at least there was a hint of summer last weekend when I was able to relax for the first time in weeks. As you might know this year has been full of changes. First of I started a new one in February. Then I moved into my new apartment. As much as I welcomed these (necessary) changes they have been quiet exhausting. So this sunny weekend and those summer vibes was exactly what I needed. I met up with Christina and we strolled along the Spree and sat down for a while to soak in every sunbeam.

For the first time in months I was able to wear a shirt only. Styled it with a mom jeans from H&M which I happen to wear on repeat. I just recently discover this mom jeans trend, since I always thought that they wouldn’t suit me. But with heels and free ankles I really like it. Combined it with my orange DKNY statement bag and and vintage belt from my mum. What do you think of this look?

If you haven’t heard of the term athleisure clothing let me quickly introduce you to probably the best clothing trend you will ever know of. Athleisure is a compound word formed of athletic and leisure. Which basically means that integrating your sportswear into your everyday wear is now considered to be highly fashionable. I always dreamed of the moment that staying in my joggers the whole day becomes accepted by the fashion industry. Luckily after the sneaker boom a couple of years ago and increasingly important fitness and healthy lifestyle trends – the day finally arrived. Big fashion houses jumped on that bandwagon and launched their own athleisure clothing lines such as IVY Park from Beyoncé – successfully.

Combining fashion and function can be a bit tricky. So in order to pull off that athleisure clothing trend properly there are some rules you can follow to look as chic and sporty as possible. Just always think about getting ready for the gym but also be prepared if the occurs a sudden coffee date prior to that ;)
- Combine sneakers to suits or dresses.
- Layer sports pieces under regular fashion items: Sports bra under a denim shirt or jacket, leggings under a chic coat.
- Combine joggers with some heels.
- Make leggings more streetwear appropriate by pairing them with longer tops or tying a (checked) shirt around your waist.

Statement Shirts. We love them. We wear them. And as the name says, they transmit a massage. While everyone is wearing feminist shirts lately, I am just begging for some extra money. My ‚Put money in my Pocket Shirt‘ already got quite some attention on Instagram and people where asking where I got the shirt from. Funny thing: it was a total bargain. I grabbed it during SALE season at Zara for less than five euros!!! Yap – Gotta love SALE!
Like in my previous outfit posts Dr. Martens boots seem to be my only shoe choice at the moment. My white pair would also have been a good fit for this outfit, but we shot the look in Hamburg and I didn’t bring them with me. Luckily Melissa and I have the same taste in shoes. The camouflage jacket is also borrowed from her, but I am really tempted to buy one myself now. As I always try to pair edgy with classy/feminin pieces, I added a black skirt with some lace details to the look. Love the combo!
By the way what do you think of these nose accessories aka fake nose piercings? I had the feeling of going to sneeze all the time haha. Even though I think it looks really cool, I guess I couldn’t wear it for a long time.

I guess I have demonstrated my love for midi skirts a few times already. But I must admit that this length has become my favourite in terms of skirts as it always looks classic, regardless of how you style it. And it is proven that there are multiple ways to do so. As there a various forms of midi skirt, there are – of course – various ways to wear them. Like with high heels and a camisole, or with a band shirt, hat and boots or like in this outfit with a sweater, bomber jacket and Dr. Martens boots (which are currently attached to my feet!)
The latter version being my number one choice as I am obsessed with those edgy, rocker-chic looks. But by adding midi skirts to your outfit you set an extra highlight and who doesn’t love that?! This pleated silver skirt shines bright for sure, even during those dark winter days.

Let’s start by saying that this week was full of events. Most of which were pretty good ones – thanks for that! So here is what happened:
- On Wednesday, 1st of February I started my new job as a booker. I am responsible for the dubbing process of various movies,tv series etc into German. Unfortunately I can’t tell you more because I signed a strict confidentiality clause in my contract as I am working with film/movie material which has not been released anywhere yet.
- I had a commercial shooting for a big automobile brand on Saturday and it was sooo much fun. I always try to show you as much as possible on my IG stories so make sure to follow me there! Eventually I will show you the final clip as well.
- My dad came by to visit after we haven’t seen each other in a pretty long time. So we spent a nice Sunday in Berlin talking, talking and talking :)

This outfit I am showing you here just represents my current casual winter attire! At this point I must admit that this is what I look like 80% of the time. I always tend to wear simple, casual and sporty clothes. Then I ’style‘ my hair into a messy bun and there you go. Okey, okey I did some highlighting with the obligatory fishnet tights that shine through my distressed jeans. And no winter passes without my most worn piece: the shearling jacket.

I finally managed to go through all my travel photos from my previous trip to Bali. In this post I like to share my impressions and also give you 10 tipps what you can or better should do over there. Enjoy!
#1 Go Surfing

This advize should be no surprise. As I already showed you in my bucket list post about surfing and millions of Instagram pictures surfing has been one of the main reasons why we travelled to Bali. We attended a surf lesson on Kuta Beach and quickly learned how to ride the (small) waves. So much fun!
#2 Indulge in the Balinese cuisine

Well, what can I tell you except : I LOVED THE FOOD! We indulged in the Balinese cuisine with all it’s fresh and exotic fruits, shakes and various rice dishes. I guess I just spent some time in food heaven over there. I highly recommend eating in Warungs (type of small family-owned restaurants) and this is also where you will get Melissa and my favorite meal: GADO GADO :)
#3 Visit Ubud

Upon our trip to Bali I read this article about Ubud where it says: Ubud is the cultural mecca of Bali, oasis of art surrounded by lush green rice terraces. Which I think describes it pretty well. But Ubud is also so known for its delicious food (again!), markets, traditional dance show, yoga classes and many more. Even though Ubud is located in the middle of the country and it takes some time to get there I really encourage you to leave the beach for some days and indulge in the real Bali as they say.
#4 Visit the Monkey Forest

Visiting the Monkey Forest actually requires my tip no. 3. Because the Monkey Forest is located in Ubud. Once you are in Ubud you definitely have to visit all these adorable monkeys – But watch your belongings ;)
#5 Visit the Rice Terraces

We decided to visit one of the most famous tourist destination: Tegalalang Rice Terrace. Unfortunately I began to rain shortly after arriving (be prepared for a lot of rain during your stay in Bali!). This was still such a beautiful place to watch and even walk through. Really impressive!
#6 Go Shopping

Do I need to explain?
#7 Drive Scooter

Getting around by scooter seems to be the only way in Bali. And I guess I haven’t seen more scooters in one place than in Bali. Even though the traffic is absolutely chaotic and can get quite dangerous we had so much fun driving around on our rental scooters. I even think of getting myself a scooter again :)
#8 Visit a temple

Bali has so many temples to offer and from one of my previous travels to Thailand I really love the architecture. This time we went to visit the Tanah Lot Temple. Even though my cultural activities don’t really take place during my travels I try to do at least one or two. Despite the attached boringness that I always think of (childhood trauma!), it is one of the best ways to get to know the country and its people – and it always turned out not boring.
#9 Relax

Probably one of the main reasons to go on vacation is to R-E-L-A-X. So besides doing some activities in order to get to know the country also get some rest. Bali offers massages on almost every doorstep and as someone addicted to massages I didn’t miss out on the chances of getting some relaxing treatments.
#10 Visit the nearby Gili Islands
Read about it here.

Berlin Fashion Week 2017 is over and I was recovering from all the trouble in Hamburg. On my Instagram stories I have already shown you some impressions of last weeks fashion circus. In this post I like to introduce you to the three major trends, which you could observe on all shows and street styles: fishnet tights, ruffles and checked patterns.

FISHNET TIGHTS
Lately, they have become omnipresent and there are multiple ways to show them off. They have become a great statement accessory. I decided to go for the ‚plain version‘ – if you can say so. Even though there is a slightly wicked image about it and I for sure caught some views I think they are simply great. I loved this look way more with these fishnet tights than without and since fashion is always some kind of statement I went for this ‚provocative look‘.

RUFFLES
Well, ruffles can be found everywhere. On the arm like in my outfit, on the shoulders, on the front of a shirt oder skirt – even on shoes. You see. I think this detail is really cute and a bit girly and makes and even boring jumper unique.

CHECKED PATTERNS
They are back! Once again, you’ll see checked patterns not , but skirts, dresses, coats – and so on. I love the 90’s vibe that comes with it and if you use them dezent, than it is for sure a great.

Winter clothing tends to be as dark and dreary as the weather. Despite the famous #allblackeverything looks, I do like to add some color during this time of the year. When I spotted this faux fur pastel coat, I guess it was love at first sight. Do I need to tell you that it does keep warm, too? In this post I have already disclose my liking for paisley print and this dress from Rut&Circle is one of my favorite. But as the material is not that winter appropriate I wore some long-sleeve underneath. Without wearing proper tights I would have gotten sick right away – so therefore I suggest to always wear two pairs during winter. Just a little fashion trick ;) And since this is still not enough color, I added my latest purchase – this orange DKNY bag in orange. What do you think about this colorful winter outfit?

I hope you all arrived safe and sound in 2017! I don’t really make any New Years resolutions. But here is what I plan on doing:
- Working harder on my dreams and getting closer to them
- Travel more often and get to know our beautiful earth
- Stay healthy and fit, which implicit working out more and eating better
- Find love and peace in my daily life

Hello Everyone! Hope you had some lovely Christmas days and are enjoying remaining time in 2016. To be honest, I am really looking forward to the end of 2016. This year hasn’t been the best – for various reasons. Are you with me?

Today’s look has still a Christmassy vibe. And while editing these pics I noticed that I kind of look like a living Christmas tree without planning it. But well, I could have dressed worse. This just might be a proof that you dress accordingly to a specific season. And by that I don’t mean putting on your big turtleneck sweater once the degrees drop.

Today’s look could also be described as a current combination of THREE TRENDS, which I would like to introduce you to:

Today’s outfit combination represents more than my style. It stands for the opposites in my life. If something screams unusual I will be the first to go for it. Because nothing sounds more painful to me then „standard – usual – routine“. I know that the majority prefers those things, because they are seeking security through it and I don’t blame them. But it is just nothing for me. And I always knew that. From the beginning on. Sometimes you feel like you are supposed to explain yourself and the live you have chosen. Stop right there. You don’t. Never. Live the life you want. Period.
This look is my interpretation of the contrary living. Feminin vs punk. Chic vs Edgy. In order to stay warm during these tough Berlin winters I hardly take off this shearling Jacket I bought two years ago. Feeling like a teddy bear. Same goes for these new biker boots – do I need to explain? A since we are in the middle of the festive season a little shimmer and shine can’t be missed.
So does opposites attract? I would very much appreciate if you leave me a comment telling me what you think of this look!

Not another surf post! Well one more until I will go surfing again (hopefully soon!) After showing you how it looks like when you are on a surfboard for the first time. I do have some more pictures Melissa and I shot on the beach.
Since I didn’t own a surfing gear prior this trip and I didn’t want to do my first surf lesson with a regular bikini, I bought this really nice long sleeve wetsuit from Rip Curl. Once you are surfing you are exposed to the sun for a pretty long time. Therefore I wanted something which covers most of my body in order to not get sunburned. I had a sunburn on my head though which was enough for me to handle haha.

May the force be with you! 2016 was the year of graphic shirts. I have already shown you a look styled with a vintage band shirt. In today’s outfit you’ll see me wearing one of the Star Wars merchandise products. Since I have already taken a photo with Yoda back in Miami, I thought it was about time to get the whole crew on my clothes. Styled it with a camel coat from Louis Féraud and my cobalt blue Guess Tote, which gives everything a mature touch. All in all it is just my style: edgy, cool and a bit chic. Even though I couldn’t endure fall/winter without my beloved biker boots, you could also combine this look with some over-the-knee boots.
