I guess I have demonstrated my love for midi skirts a few times already. But I must admit that this length has become my favourite in terms of skirts as it always looks classic, regardless of how you style it. And it is proven that there are multiple ways to do so. As there a various forms of midi skirt, there are – of course – various ways to wear them. Like with high heels and a camisole, or with a band shirt, hat and boots or like in this outfit with a sweater, bomber jacket and Dr. Martens boots (which are currently attached to my feet!)
The latter version being my number one choice as I am obsessed with those edgy, rocker-chic looks. But by adding midi skirts to your outfit you set an extra highlight and who doesn’t love that?! This pleated silver skirt shines bright for sure, even during those dark winter days.

Let’s start by saying that this week was full of events. Most of which were pretty good ones – thanks for that! So here is what happened:
- On Wednesday, 1st of February I started my new job as a booker. I am responsible for the dubbing process of various movies,tv series etc into German. Unfortunately I can’t tell you more because I signed a strict confidentiality clause in my contract as I am working with film/movie material which has not been released anywhere yet.
- I had a commercial shooting for a big automobile brand on Saturday and it was sooo much fun. I always try to show you as much as possible on my IG stories so make sure to follow me there! Eventually I will show you the final clip as well.
- My dad came by to visit after we haven’t seen each other in a pretty long time. So we spent a nice Sunday in Berlin talking, talking and talking :)

This outfit I am showing you here just represents my current casual winter attire! At this point I must admit that this is what I look like 80% of the time. I always tend to wear simple, casual and sporty clothes. Then I ‘style’ my hair into a messy bun and there you go. Okey, okey I did some highlighting with the obligatory fishnet tights that shine through my distressed jeans. And no winter passes without my most worn piece: the shearling jacket.

Berlin Fashion Week 2017 is over and I was recovering from all the trouble in Hamburg. On my Instagram stories I have already shown you some impressions of last weeks fashion circus. In this post I like to introduce you to the three major trends, which you could observe on all shows and street styles: fishnet tights, ruffles and checked patterns.

FISHNET TIGHTS
Lately, they have become omnipresent and there are multiple ways to show them off. They have become a great statement accessory. I decided to go for the ‘plain version’ – if you can say so. Even though there is a slightly wicked image about it and I for sure caught some views I think they are simply great. I loved this look way more with these fishnet tights than without and since fashion is always some kind of statement I went for this ‘provocative look’.

RUFFLES
Well, ruffles can be found everywhere. On the arm like in my outfit, on the shoulders, on the front of a shirt oder skirt – even on shoes. You see. I think this detail is really cute and a bit girly and makes and even boring jumper unique.

CHECKED PATTERNS
They are back! Once again, you’ll see checked patterns not , but skirts, dresses, coats – and so on. I love the 90’s vibe that comes with it and if you use them dezent, than it is for sure a great.

Hello Everyone! Hope you had some lovely Christmas days and are enjoying remaining time in 2016. To be honest, I am really looking forward to the end of 2016. This year hasn’t been the best – for various reasons. Are you with me?

Today’s look has still a Christmassy vibe. And while editing these pics I noticed that I kind of look like a living Christmas tree without planning it. But well, I could have dressed worse. This just might be a proof that you dress accordingly to a specific season. And by that I don’t mean putting on your big turtleneck sweater once the degrees drop.

Today’s look could also be described as a current combination of THREE TRENDS, which I would like to introduce you to:

Today’s outfit combination represents more than my style. It stands for the opposites in my life. If something screams unusual I will be the first to go for it. Because nothing sounds more painful to me then “standard – usual – routine”. I know that the majority prefers those things, because they are seeking security through it and I don’t blame them. But it is just nothing for me. And I always knew that. From the beginning on. Sometimes you feel like you are supposed to explain yourself and the live you have chosen. Stop right there. You don’t. Never. Live the life you want. Period.
This look is my interpretation of the contrary living. Feminin vs punk. Chic vs Edgy. In order to stay warm during these tough Berlin winters I hardly take off this shearling Jacket I bought two years ago. Feeling like a teddy bear. Same goes for these new biker boots – do I need to explain? A since we are in the middle of the festive season a little shimmer and shine can’t be missed.
So does opposites attract? I would very much appreciate if you leave me a comment telling me what you think of this look!

Not another surf post! Well one more until I will go surfing again (hopefully soon!) After showing you how it looks like when you are on a surfboard for the first time. I do have some more pictures Melissa and I shot on the beach.
Since I didn’t own a surfing gear prior this trip and I didn’t want to do my first surf lesson with a regular bikini, I bought this really nice long sleeve wetsuit from Rip Curl. Once you are surfing you are exposed to the sun for a pretty long time. Therefore I wanted something which covers most of my body in order to not get sunburned. I had a sunburn on my head though which was enough for me to handle haha.

May the force be with you! 2016 was the year of graphic shirts. I have already shown you a look styled with a vintage band shirt. In today’s outfit you’ll see me wearing one of the Star Wars merchandise products. Since I have already taken a photo with Yoda back in Miami, I thought it was about time to get the whole crew on my clothes. Styled it with a camel coat from Louis Féraud and my cobalt blue Guess Tote, which gives everything a mature touch. All in all it is just my style: edgy, cool and a bit chic. Even though I couldn’t endure fall/winter without my beloved biker boots, you could also combine this look with some over-the-knee boots.

Wow – lately I couldn’t complain about boredom. You probably will agree that there are times where nothing much happens and then there are periods where things come thick and fast. Guess what?! Currently I don’t know in which direction to look at without it being changed. And when the workload seems to explode I feel like I don’t know where to begin and kind of freeze. Do you know this feeling? And your head is like ‘you have to do this, this and this’, but your body is like ‘uhm, you better don’t do anything at all’. So sometimes you have to kick a** like a rockstar to get things done. Because if you don’t do it who will?
Therefore I styled an outfit with one of the fashion trends this year : the vintage band shirt. I combined this vintage shirt with one of my new favorite midi skirts from Vila, put a hat on it and some ankle boots. How do you like this look?

Before showing you more of my travels around Indonesia I still have two looks I shoot back in Berlin. And since it is getting colder and colder these days here in Germany, it is almost impossible to put a #ootd Hashtag on Instagram hehe. So here is a very casual business look from when I was running errands around the city. I am a big fan of this cool but chic business look. Love to combine casual shirts with a blazer. Do you like this casual business look?

Hey guys! I still have some unpublished pictures from the shooting with Jennifer Becker for my collaboration with Roger & Gallet. We shot them right in time during a beautiful summer sunset in Berlin. The golden light as you would say – it is just magical. I wish this time of the day would be longer and always as beautiful as this. But before you know the sun already disappeared. For the look, well it is probably one of the most revealing outfits I have worn since my teenage years. It is very daring, but I wanted to style something very sensual for the fragrance, because that is my association with ‘wearing a perfume’. I hope you like these pictures as much as I do. Go and check out Jennifer’s work for more beautiful photography.

A perfume – that is probably one of the most recognizable features you can wear. It is like the invisible accessory you put on. The sense of smell and its relationship to emotional feelings is one of a kind. Like how many times has a certain scent brought back a million memories?
I must admit that I am kind of addicted to scents and I hardly ever leave the house without putting on one of my few fragrances. In this matter I am going for the more the better (sorry to my colleagues who said more than once that I am surrounded by a certain cloud of perfume). But I prefer to be remembered as the one who smells good than – well you know where this is going. Therefore I was so happy when Flaconi reached out and asking me to try the new product line by Roger & Gallet. Even though I already have some favorite fragrances I am always excited to try out new ones. Among the different fragrance lines I choose Gingembre Rouge (red ginger), which aroused my desire by the ‘vibrant and addictive fragrance that can be worn everyday’ description. And I have not been disappointed. This scent is for sure on very fresh, energizing and light. Check out there other perfume collections HERE.

Shooting my outfit in front of a wall usually is not my style! But there is one wall who made it impossible not to use it as a photo location. We are talking about one of the most instagrammed walls in Los Angeles – THE PAUL SMITH PINK WALL on Melrose Ave. When we crossed the building by accident we immediately stopped for a quick outfit shoot. I changed into my A-line mesh dress from &other stories, wore one of the very few high heels I had with me on our road trip and my new cat eye sunglasses from Crush. This dress is very feminin, but since it is crafted from mesh, it still has that sporty appeal that I like so much. I started to gather a lot of dark blue pieces lately which is kind of obvious regarding this outfit post. Hope you guys like this look and are enjoying your Sunday to the fullest.
